Part 1: In the first section of the training we will discuss what positive reinforcement is, some tips for using it in the classroom and what the methods of reinforcement are. Part 2: The next section of the training focus on guiding behavior and the concept of mistaken behaviors. We will also look at age appropriate child guidance differentiate between reinforcement and bribes. Part 3: The final section of the training focuses on what redirection is and how to use it in an early childhood classroom in an age appropriate manner. Assessment: Our courses provide multiple points of assessment that include discussion boards with prompted questions and interaction with trainers and other providers. We also include open-ended questions reviewed by trainers and multiple choice quizzes with a required passing score of at least 80% or higher.
