Part 1: In this section we will discuss physical development, physical activity and the benefits these have on children. We will break this down by age group for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Part 2: Here we will look at active playtime, tips for this time, structured physical activities, and ways to encourage physical activity. Part 3: The last section looks at outdoor active play, indoor play, inclusive play, and will wrap up supporting physical growth and development. Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge students learning throughout. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz as well. There are worksheet questions throughout the course that relate to the objectives and are reviewed by a trainer before a certificate is issued.
