This training is designed for both novice and experienced child care providers who care for preschool age children. Participants will learn to use books and literature with young children. Participants will also be actively involved in applying skills in choosing books and reading to young children. Activities include self study reading and watching videos that support class objectives. Students are asked to share on a message board and complete a follow-up assignment that reflects the stated objectives. There is a required objective quiz that measures the course objectives. Students must pass the quiz with a score of at least 80%
