Summary
Part 1: In this section we look at language, voice, speech, provide a voice experiment, and prenatal language development. Part 2: Here we will look at newborn, infant, toddler, and preschool speech and language development milestones. Part 3: This last section we will look at typical speech and language development, atypical development, red flags, documenting red flags, and some causes of speech delays. We will also look at some hypothetical scenarios. Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge students learning throughout. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz as well. There are worksheet questions throughout the course that relate to the objectives and are reviewed by a trainer before a certificate is issued.
