Part 1: In the first section of the training we will look at circle time as an essential part of the day, the benefits to the classroom community, practicing circle time routines, following a schedule, and circle time basics. Part 2: The next section of the training looks at planning circle time, activity examples and the ways to incorporate activities relevant to one year olds, two year olds, three years olds, and preschool age children. Part 3: The final section of the training discusses observations and behaviors, prevention of mistaken behaviors, the importance of guided circle time, presenting your material, and redirection. Lastly we will look at strategies and lesson plan ideas for circle time.
