Part 1: In the first section of the training the importance of block play is discussed along with the STEM benefits of block play. Part 2: The second section will cover block play scenarios that allow participants to strategize how they would react. It will also discuss supporting STEM and provide some activities to use in the classroom. Part 3: The final section of the training will cover non-traditional building materials to use with children. It will also provide lesson plan ideas. Assessment: Our courses provide multiple points of assessment that include discussion boards with prompted questions and interaction with trainers and other providers. We also include open-ended questions reviewed by trainers and multiple choice quizzes with a required passing score of at least 80% or higher.
