Part 1: In the first section of the training we will explore military families by looking at the life of a military family, the types of military in our country and appropriate ways to identify military families. Part 2: The next section of the training will look at the challenges that military families goes through and some of the common issues they frequently face and how to support them. We will also explore military children and stress and common stressors for these families. Part 3: The final section of the training will include information on frequent separation and ways to support children and their family members during these times. Assessment: Our courses provide multiple points of assessment that include discussion boards with prompted questions and interaction with trainers and other providers. We also include open-ended questions reviewed by trainers and multiple choice quizzes with a required passing score of at least 80% or higher.
