This module will focus on Abusive Head Trauma resulting from violent shaking or inflicted head injury known as Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS). This module will guide you through the process of recognizing and preventing SBS so you may fully understand your role in protecting Tennessee’s children from harm. As educators, your responsibility is to provide a safe and nurturing environment enabling children to grow and live to their full potential. As partners in providing a stable, healthy environment, together we can prevent SBS through education, communication, and understanding.
