“The Leader Within” training is designed to strengthen the leadership skills of childcare center directors and owners. The professional development course will outline various best practices to use in leadership to impact childcare center teachers and staff positively. The directors/owners will identify their preferred leadership style and participate in activities to fortify their leadership skills. Leaders will develop a better understanding of how to empower their childcare team. The directors/owners will learn research-based leadership and communication techniques to enhance “continuous quality improvement” and improve their day-to-day work as childcare leaders.
