As burnout takes a heavy toll, both productively and economically, learning how to promote resilience in staff will improve productivity, optimism, energy, and an ability to generate creative solutions to workplace stress. Compounded stress can prevent a person from handling their duties effectively but with resilience, comes a buffer against pressure and the increased likelihood of physical wellbeing. Resilient staff are better able to adapt to adversity and challenge, problem-solve, show empathy, and develop strong relationships. With resilience is the energy to be inspired and motivated to succeed.
