Part 1: In this section we will look at observation and development, record keeping 101, the basics of making observation, understanding observations, objective versus subjective, and quantitative versus qualitative. Part 2: Here we will discuss recording and documenting, document observations, running records, anecdotal notes, time/event samplings, work samples and pictures, checklists and videos. Part 3: This last section covers assessments, types of assessments, caution and risk with these, standards, early intervention, and future plans. Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge students learning throughout. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz as well. There are worksheet questions throughout the course that relate to the objectives and are reviewed by a trainer before a certificate is issued.
