This is an introductory class that will introduce using observation in a child care setting. Observation of children is an important skill to learn. It will help you build your general knowledge of children as well as contributes to your understanding of individual children. Activities include self study reading and watching videos that support class objectives. Students are asked to share on a message board and complete a follow-up assignment that reflects the stated objectives. There is a required objective quiz that measures the course objectives. Students must pass the quiz with a score of at least 80%.
