Part 1: In this section we will look at what ACEs are, categories of these, complex trauma, relationships between ACEs and health, and trauma affects across a lifetime. Part 2: Here we will discuss the idea of a stress mountain, positive stress, tolerable stress, toxic stress, effects of stress in kids, the brain, understanding the brain, brain architecture, brain development and myelination. Part 3: This last section will summarize homelessness in ACEs, defining homelessness, behavior and brain development, resiliency, positive relationships, regulating emotions, breathing exercises and supporting children through stress.
