Part 1: In the first section of the training we discuss what a gifted or highly capable child is, characteristics of gifted children, and gifted children in ECE. Part 2: The next section of the training will look at common myths and misconceptions relating to gifted children and what some areas of giftedness are. We also take a look at different talents, how gifted and talented children manifest and traits of gifted infants. Part 3: The final section of the training will include information about identifying the barriers to giftedness, assessing giftedness, meeting the needs of these children, educational strategies and examples of gifted children.
