The STEAM Fellows program is a specialized training exclusively for a cohort of teachers. mentors, and coaches from Head Start who learn about STEAM and its application in the ear1y childhood/Headstart classroom. This STEAM Fellows training, "What Is STEAM? " , will be held on October 17th, 2022. The Fellows will learn more about the overall program and delve into what STEAM is. We will talk about the processes children engage in through STEAM. We will talk about the things we can do in the classroom to encourage STEAM processes. Guest speakers include CDM ' s Art Specialist to talk about art as an expression, not just professional pieces, and how music, movement, and design ties into science, engineering, math, and technology concepts so well.
