Part 1: The first part of this course will look into who Bill Martin Jr. was as an author and person, early literacy, letter recognition, narrative skills, vocabulary, rhyming words, considering classroom decor and some fun ideas for classrooms snacks that incorporate Martin's works. Part 2: The second portion of the training covers lesson planning ideas that relate to these books. Part 3: The final section provides participants with the opportunity to reflect on how they can use this information in their classroom and the chance to create a lesson plan for their own use.
