Part 1: In this section we look at the definition of play, decline of play, developmentally appropriate practice, and, 6 types of play. We will also look at cooperative play, making friends, and provide some lesson plans here. Part 2: Here we will explore independent play, supporting this play, and provide some relevant lesson plans. We will also look into active play, constructive play, fantasy play, and rule-based play. Part 3: This last section we will discuss structured versus unstructured play. We will also explore play through the ages including 5-12 year olds.
