Part 1: In this section we will discuss what STEM is, benefits of STEM, supporting STEM, creating STEM-friendly play environments, and include some relevant lesson plans. Part 2: Here we will discuss math, early math concepts, everyday infant and toddler math, supporting these skills, and include some relevant lesson plans. We will also look at early science, why to teach science, supporting science for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers as well as some relevant lesson plans. Part 3: This section will look at block play in relation to STEM, some scenarios, activities that support STEM, and some lesson plans.
