Part 1: Introduction - This section will include an introduction to the concept of teaching multicultural art in the early childhood classroom. Part 2: Benefits of Art - This section includes reading and mini quizzes relating to success of teaching multicultural art, respect, empathy for others, identity, pride, and benefits. Lessons - This section includes various age appropriate and developmentally appropriate lesson plans to use in the classroom to teach multicultural art. Part 3: Multicultural Art Lesson Plan - This portion of the training will allow the participants to create their own multicultural art lesson plan for use in their classroom.
