Part 1: Introduction - This section includes reading and mini quizzes relating to the basics of using sign language in the classroom. Deaf Culture - This section includes reading and mini quizzes relating to deaf culture and community, common myths, cultural influences on language, and cultural norms. Part 2: Secondary Signs - This section includes reading and mini quizzes relating to days of the week signs, family signs, food signs, animal signs, feelings signs, and school signs. Part 3: Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge students learning throughout. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz as well. There are worksheet questions throughout the course that relate to the objectives and are reviewed by a trainer before a certificate is issued.
