The STEAM Fellows program is a specialized training exclusively for a cohort of teachers, mentors, and coaches from Head Start who learn about STEAM and its application in the early childhood/Headstart classroom. This training, planned for April 18, focuses on water exploration. Participants will observe children playing in our water exhibit and think about discoveries around water properties and water flow. As a group, we will discuss the scientific processes students engage in during hands-on activities with water and then participate in hands-on activities ourselves. We will also observe videos of teachers scaffolding learning for their students and discuss what we see.
