The STEAM Fellows program is a specialized training exclusively for a cohort of teachers. mentors, and coaches from Head Start who learn about STEAM and its application in the ear1y childhood/Headstart classroom. Growing Curiosity Through STEAM is designed to give an overview of what STEAM looks like in the preschool classroom, highlighting life science explorations. The workshop starts in a large group where participants learn about the content and processes of STEAM. Through large group and small group discussions, participants think through investigations and resources related to building on children's curiosities about plants, animals, bugs and related ideas.
