Summary
Research through the HOPE National Resource Center has led to the creation of a mind shift change on how positive childhood experiences (PCEs) can work to mitigate adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) in order to create healthy outcomes and development. Through HOPE 101, participants will review the building blocks of HOPE that lead to stronger relationships, engagement with the communities, emotional growth as well as safe, equitable, stable environments. This workshop will be interactive through group discussion looking at how you are implementing and/or could implement the building blocks into everyday practice with not only the families you serve but the environments and staff at work. Through HOPE 101, participants will review the building blocks of HOPE that lead to stronger relationships, engagement with the communities, emotional growth as well as safe, equitable, stable environments.
