Teachers and educators are healing and recovering from the many disruptions, uncertainties, stress, and trauma from COVID in their professional and personal lives. The children and families they support and work with are also recovering and healing. This course is designed to explore the research around trauma and recovery and their connections to the challenges teachers are facing post-COVID; detail the “why” behind the importance of children’s social and emotional learning and relationship-building now more than ever; and help teachers in moving forward and partnering with families.
