This training/course helps educators learn how to plan appropriate activities based on curriculum content, child development, and children's interests as a team. This training/course is designed for educators to learn how to properly create, implement, and reflect on their lesson planning to further their children’s developmental learning. The training/course reflects specifically the HighScope Preschool Curriculum; however, any educator could take the course and effectively apply the strategies and planning process to their own curriculum and classroom needs. The training/course meets the beginning and intermediate levels of understanding the active learning approach and how to lesson plan for each part of the day as well as implementing an effective team planning process.
