Summary
Autism is a lifelong, neurological, and developmental condition that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. Early Childhood educators play a key role in helping children with Autism learn, grow, and develop while supporting families as they navigate the process of diagnosis and living with a child who has Autism. This course aims to help educators understand the signs and symptoms and learn practical tips to use in the classroom while building better awareness of the Autism community. Educators will learn ways to support both children who have Autism and their families.
