Child care professionals are much more than glorified babysitters: as essential adults responsible for ensuring that young children meet developmental milestones and eventually become ready for the kindergarten setting, caregivers and providers guide children in mastering necessary skills to become more independent. Part of this includes intentional planning of instruction and setting up learning centers to support instruction. We created this course to help childcare providers increase their lesson planning capabilities as well as describe the importance of learning centers in the early childhood education environment.
