This training provides a brief explanation of the two different types of language, how language is acquired, and why supporting and promoting language growth is important within a classroom setting. Additionally, it will provide the opportunity for teachers and caregivers to brainstorm ways in which they might create a “language rich” environment and how to partner with parents to provide practical strategies to enhance their child's speech and language development through everyday activities.
