This course seeks to equip early childhood leaders with research-informed insights into the value and importance of self-care. It provides participants with opportunities to explore what self-care means and to understand some of its key components. Throughout this course, participants will engage in self-reflection regarding their current self-care approaches and practice several strategies for quickly implementing self-care approaches. The benefits and rewards of self-care, both for the individual and for all school stakeholders, will be underscored.
