The impact of the pandemic and the effect of distance learning on children have recently brought the interplay of education and children's mental health into the forefront of public discourse, but the two have always been interconnected. In this course, you will learn about mental health in the early childhood years. This course will teach you about the components of good mental health in young children, as well as the role that professional educators (teachers, caregivers, counselors, and administrators) play in supporting the mental health of their students. This course will also teach you about some of the most common mental health conditions that impact children in early childhood.
