This is a one hour training to explain the difference between product art and process art. This training is based in research that covers Developmentally Appropriate Practice in early childhood classrooms which include the art processes. This is a face to face training for up to 100 people which includes a powerpoint and a make and take. I will present the information using the powerpoint then the attendees will complete 2 art projects, one where everyone's must look exactly the same. I will only offer the exact same materials to every attendee. The second art project will be completely open ended. To close, we will discuss which project gave them more ownership, which allowed for more use of fine motor skills and experience with various media, etc.
