We will use the “100 languages” as inspiration as we explore the use of loose parts in our early childhood learning environments. During this session, we will learn how to use open-ended materials to support problem solving, flexible thinking, language development, and mathematical and scientific thinking. We will also examine the connection between loose-part play and social-emotional learning.
