This training is designed to deepen early childhood educators' understanding of the critical role play and environment have in child development. Participant will explore four keys types of play and the distinct benefits each provides in supporting young children's growth. The session will include practical strategies for encouraging high-quality play and developmentally appropriate activities that promote both fine and gross motor skills in preschoolers. Educators will also learn how to thoughtfully design and enhance learning centers and interest areas to foster creativity, critical thinking, and safe, self-directed exploration. By the end of the training. participants will be able to identify how each learning center supports cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development, and how intentional arrangement of materials and space contributes to a rich learning environment.
