Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are important in the educational world for teaching critical thinking skills. This is a hands-on, experiment-filled workshop with ways to get students problem solving. And, of course, we offer plenty of fantastic book suggestions. This training is about how to incorporate the popular STEAM methods of teaching with books and literacy. We will discuss books that are STEAM related and give lesson plans to go along with them. The philosophy behind why and how to use the STEAM method will also be explained.
