An infant’s environment is the catalyst in fostering gross motor development. Appropriate play and activities provide the stimulation that helps gross motor development progress on its natural path, in sync with each infant’s developmental pathway. This course will explore the milestones of gross motor development and learning experiences to support gross motor development in infants (ages birth to 18 months).
