Our training is written to meet the needs of the learner to incorporate developmentally appropriate character training into the preschool classroom. It is a 1-hour on-line session located on our website www.4prokids.org. After completion, a certificate is automatically delivered to the student by email. This character training was developed to cover information on the character trait "self discipline". Additional character trait trainings will be added to the website as they are completed and approved. For this training, we have also included activities for older preschoolers. A variety of methods are used to deliver the information: informative and interactive slides, self-evaluation, video clips, scenarios, and suggestions for activities and books. The on-line training also includes an individual review. The activites presented are things children can do in their play centers or during small or large group times. There are suggestions for conversations with young children.
