Summary
This course assists early childhood education staff in better understanding the effects of divorce on children. Participants will learn how they can positively impact the lives of children during this difficult time. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to define how both age and developmental stages can determine how children cope with divorce. They should also be able to list ways they can better meet the needs of children and families experiencing divorce and separation while allowing children to maintain positive feelings about themselves. Also, this training is available in Spanish.
