Part 1: In this section we look at early science, why it's important to teach science, and baby brainpower. Part 2: The second portion will discuss supporting science for infants and toddlers and provide some lesson plan ideas. We will also discuss this for preschoolers and provide age specific lesson plans. Part 3: The last portion of the course covers science in real life, science through play, and how to create a successful science center in the classroom. Small Group Discussion: There are 3 small group discussion boards with prompted questions for peer-interaction. Video with Questions: There are several short videos with corresponding quiz questions throughout. Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge student’s learning. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz.
