Part 1: Explain developmentally appropriate practices for playdough use in open-ended questions. The first part of this training looks at infant and toddlers and the benefits of using playdough in a developmentally appropriate manner. We will also take a brief look at the history of playdough. Part 2: The second portion of the training covers lesson planning ideas and how to use playdough with preschool age children to support development. Part 3: Here we will look at the benefits that playdough have on social and emotional skills, physical development, creative play, and literacy skills. The course will end with some recipe ideas for making various kinds of playdough and what additives can be included to increase learning.
