Part 1: The first section will look at the basics of montessori, the montessori classroom, and the materials used. Part 2 :The second portion of the training covers program planning including information about ages or ability levels, montessori program planning, independence, and the teacher's role. Part 3: Here we will look at the benefits of montessori including community and practical life skills, montessori and special needs and how to plan effectively. We will also provide some useful lesson plans. Assessment: There are quizzes throughout the training to gauge students learning throughout. There is a pre-assessment at the beginning of the course that matches up with the end of course quiz as well. There are worksheet questions throughout the course that relate to the objectives and are reviewed by a trainer before a certificate is issued. Materials: All materials are embedded in the online course.
