Part 1: The first portion of the training will cover what classification is and examples of classification in an early childhood classroom. It will also go over some ideas for classroom activities to promote classification skills. Part 2 :The next section of the training will provide participants with information about classifying same and different objects. Objects will be discussed such as blocks, balls and letters. It will also provide information about comparing and contrasting and sorting in groups. Part 3: The final section will cover lesson planning and an opportunity to reflect and be quizzed on the content of the course.
