This workshop will examine the value of outdoor play and define how outdoor time is a rich learning opportunity for all children, with many opportunities for discovery and learning. In addition, the value of outdoor play and its relationship to our F.L.EX. framework will be discussed. Appropriate supervision and safety tips for the outdoors will also be discussed. Learning Objectives: • Define outdoor time as a safe and valuable learning opportunity. • Identify activities to engage children while outside and explore what children might discover and learn.
